Financial hardship can affect anyone.

There are times when managing financial commitments becomes challenging - especially during life events like losing a job, going through a relationship breakdown, or facing illness. These situations are common and can make it harder to stay on top of expenses.

How We Can Support You

We’ll work with you to review your current financial situation and explore the best way to manage your commitments with us. To do this, we’ll need details about your income, essential living expenses, and an updated budget.

Temporary Hardship Assistance

  • If you're facing short- to medium-term financial difficulty, you may be eligible to apply for temporary hardship assistance. This support can include options to adjust and reduce your loan obligations, such as:
    • Extending your loan term to lower repayments
    • Making interest-only repayments for a set period
    • Postponing repayments for a set period
To apply, you’ll need to complete our hardship assistance application form. In some cases, we may need approval from third parties. For example, if your home loan is mortgage insured, we’ll need consent from the Lenders Mortgage Insurance provider before making changes to your loan terms.
